Worlds Beyond Worlds is LIVE!

These last few months have been very active! I created my Substack, “Worlds Beyond Worlds” this past winter 2025, and have enjoyed playing with the new platform in the subsequent months. So far I have published essays on topics including science fiction and fantasy, teaching with pop culture, critical disability, and mysticism. I’ve also published a series of podcasts featuring interviews with students who took a seminar titled “Race, Religion, and Science Fiction” in 2025. These interviews are partially about the course content, but also partially about what it was like for the students to have a greater degree of autonomy in their learning than they are used to.
